Here’s why there are two Monday Night Football games in the second week

1. NFL fans will be treated to a double dip tonight with the Titans and Bills kicking off at 7:15 p.m. ET and the Vikings and Eagles kicking off at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Steve Levy, Louis Redick and Dan Orlovsky will receive the invitation from Tennessee-Buffalo on ESPN, while Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will serve Minnesota-Philadelphia on ABC. ESPN said it will freely use dual tiles on both networks during overlap to keep viewers updated on both matches.

So why do we get a double header in Week 2 and why do we only get one match Monday night in Week 1?
